Hi all - Skylark v1.0 is now live.

Where to find the library

The Skylark block library is no longer hosted on the WikiHouse website. Instead, you can access it via the public Airtable, with models and CNC files hosted in the WikiHouse GitHub repo. The previous release, Skylark v0.2.2, remains available on GitHub.

What’s new in v1.0

This release focuses on single-storey buildings and cabins. Key changes:

  1. Internal ribs removed from walls

  2. Removable top panel on beams

  3. Removable pocket at floor–column joint

  4. Wider end floor blocks

  5. Wider corner blocks

Thanks for continuing to improve WikiHouse and for sharing this update. I can’t really judge the technical details, but I’m very glad to see that larger improvements like this are still being worked on.

The open-source approach is one of the reasons I’m so interested in WikiHouse. I’ve been following the project closely for years, and I hope to use and test it myself in the coming years.
