Hi team,
Would like to start networking with structural engineers already familiar with the wikihouse system, ideally who have done wind load calculations for constructed wikihouses houses in the Australian or Asian region. Just so we are familiar and can hit the ground running for any potential future projects.
Would be handy to know structural engineers who already understands how to properly calculate all the loads on a wikihouse frame instead of asking someone unfamiliar with wikihouse to learn from the ground up.
Look forward to chatting.
Cheers,
Chris.
Hello Chrispez, we are WikiHouse Designers located in Qld and work with an engineer who is now familiar with Wren and Skylark, within Qld Northern NSW region contexts. In a ‘former life’ he had a practice that did work in Asia. But not sure of your location, so please let’s us know, email us at grahamb.osborne@gmail.com (origenarchitects.com.au) for details. Hi Graham,
Nice to meet you! Thanks for the info, sounds good. Yes am in Victoria but also looking to build around South East Asia if we can get the wind calculations right. Contemplating building next year but currently designing chassis with lower roof pitch, around 25 degrees slope. Will reach out for a chat at some stage next year.
Cheers,
Chris.
Hi Chris,
We found Gabriele at Open Systems a good resource may be able to help in SE Asia?
We will hear from you next year.
