Hi WikiHouse Community,
I’m reaching out from Spain to introduce myself and bring a design issue to your attention. I’ve been a long-time follower of WikiHouse, having manufactured both standard blocks and custom XL/XXL variants for previous projects. I’m glad to finally join the forum!
While preparing CNC files for a new project using the Skylark v1.0 150 series, I encountered a physical clash that appears across all three Floor End blocks in the library:
-
Zero clearance for insertion: There is no physical room to slide in the internal bow ties that connect the inner face of the “Wall” blocks to the “Floor End” blocks.
-
Rib interference: The slots for the first and last internal bow ties directly face the internal ribs of the Floor End block, completely blocking their path.
I noticed a recent commit in the SKYLARK150 repository branch titled “Fixes to End blocks” and wanted to put this on the core dev team’s radar to see if this specific bow tie clash is already being addressed.
(I’ve attached CAD screenshots showing the clash below)
Thanks in advance!
